PennyStocksMom (PSM) has been trading stocks since 2000. While academically trained in science and research, her passion for technology, the internet, and the stock market drove her to trade actively in her spare time.  PSM started trading penny stocks with the little disposable income she had as a poor student. She gradually shifted her focus to sub-penny stocks. During the early days of the Internet, there were limited online resources for trading. However, PSM spent most of her free time researching stocks and companies she was interested in through Yahoo messenger boards. Despite her busy schedule of working and studying full-time, she quietly continued to develop her passion for trading over several years. 

PSM discovered the true potential in trading sub-penny stocks after several years of engaging in her burgeoning hobby.  She began sharing her knowledge about these stocks with close family members. Then in early 2015, PSM's optimistic outlook on the cannabis industry, particularly industrial hemp and cryptocurrency led her to explore the opportunities in these sectors. She knew these sectors were poised for major growth and viewed them as a potential investment opportunity. PSM generously shared her insights on industrial hemp and cryptocurrency with close friends and family, who saw great returns on their investments. PSM also did well herself, turning her initial investment of a few thousand dollars  into over $150,000 within just a few months while still working as a full-time pharmacist.

Recognizing the vast potential of trading penny stocks, PSM began to fully understand how the stock market could serve as a vehicle towards achieving financial freedom. Her trading strategies could be used by investors and traders in hedging their risks when trading high-volatility penny stocks.  

PSM was limited to swing trading due to her full-time work schedule, so day trading and momentum trading were not viable options. Her focus was on buying low, holding, and selling when prices increased. Additionally, with the emergence of new technology, PSM was able to trade stocks from anywhere at any time, even while on vacation. This marked the beginning of a new era in trading, and PSM was eager to take advantage of it. 

After seeing the potential financial freedom the stock market offered, PSM wanted to share her knowledge with others, especially those who felt trapped in their financial situations, such as full-time moms and dads, students, and employees.  However, being Asian and female, PSM knew she would have to overcome the biases and stigma associated with trading. After many years of high academic achievement, including earning a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), PSM overcame these stigmas and redefined her own meaning of success and financial freedom. This encouraged her to share the knowledge with others and Empower them. PSM wanted them to know they could achieve high levels of success and Empower themselves.

After many years of trading on her own, PSM began sharing her passion for trading on social media, and her followers began to see the value in her trading strategies. Along with her valuable knowledge, PSM's sense of humor, genuine personality, and understanding of stocks attracted many stock traders and investors. PSM's passion to help others achieve financial freedom had come to fruition. 

With twenty years of experience in trading stocks, a background as a senior financial analyst, and years of working as a pharmacist, PSM has the confidence she needs to establish herself as a respected name in the trading industry.
